Me and Mom
Living with type 2 diabetes inspired me to create Alpha Metabolic, a place where I share honest advice and practical product tips for men managing this condition.
Why? Because finding trustworthy opinions on what actually helps you live a healthier life with diabetes can be surprisingly hard. That’s why I’m sharing a bit about who I am as a person—not just another website looking to make a quick buck.
I’m a normal average Joe doing this for my own health. And if I can help you save time and money while living a healthier lifestyle, that works out for all of us.
I focus on practical health solutions that actually work. I personally test every method and product with my own money and never accept free products or services.
So here’s my story – From Nothing to a Real Live Human Baby
I was born on April 7th, 1973, at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan.
My father Ray was a Fireman in Detroit and my mother was a Homemaker and later a teacher for the Detroit public school system. I grew up in a small two bedroom home in Southwest Detroit.
After high school I worked many jobs in my early twenties and finally decided to take a stab at the Allied Health professions and became an EMT and worked as an er Tech at Henry Ford Hospital where I met my wife Amy who was a nurse there. We eventually married in 2001 and we are raising two children in the suburbs of Detroit. Currently I work as an Allied Health professional at the university of Michigan Cardiac Procedures unit as an Electrophysiology Technologist, RCIS. NOT A DOCTOR
